Day 6: Sophia

It feels so good to see her again after 12 years. I haven't seen this girl since elementary school. I remember one time, it was her birthday, and no one could go to her birthday party except me and my sister. We all wore little dresses, it was cute :)

At first, I was kind of nervous because I had no idea if we would still get along like we used to...but it was great, we went to drink and club until 4 AM in Kangnam. I haven't gone to a club since new years, ha.

Day 5: Jeju, Udo

Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak, a UNESCO site. It's not the only dormant volcano in the world, but I think this is the most accessible one.

At the end of our day, we just decided to drive around. This was taken at a higher level around Hallasan, and I think we were driving through the clouds, maybe.

Day 4: Jeju

We rented a convertible, because it was my friend's dream to drive a convertible in Jeju

Day 3: Jet lagged

Today, I simply rented a bicycle near Yeouido.

For some reasons, I'm not excited to be here...why am I thinking about work? I was thinking about how it was Monday in Montreal, and I should've been at work. I was also thinking how Jonathan would have loved that if he were here. Why am I thinking about Montreal?

...and I'm starting to feel my jet lag.

Day 2: Hookers' hill

Here I am on hookers' hill in Itaewon.

Just got here after over 20 hours of flight. It didn't feel like it was that long actually, maybe because I couldn't finish watching Laughing Gor on the plane :(

Day 1: Say goodbye

Jonathan came to drive me to the airport at 5:00 AM.

He asked me if we'll see each other when I come back. I said that I didn't think so.

After we left each other, he texted me "You owe me 18$, so I will see you when you get back. I love you." I feel about this the same way as everything else he ever told me...meaningless.

But I really miss him already.
